Colored wood chips are nontoxic, and perfect for accenting planted areas, where the attractive color and natural insulating ability helps to suppress weeds, hold moisture in the soil, and protect sensitive plant and tree roots from the heat.
Made from clean recycled lumber colored with non-toxic, organic gardening dye (mineral pigments). Dyed wood chips retain their color the longest (1-2 years). Color can transfer from dog paws to carpet. May contain traces for metal debris.
